Langston will succeed Dorothy Alsenz, who is retiring this year. With an associate degree in graphic design technology from Ozarks Technical Community College, Langston is working toward a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Missouri Southern State University. She has previously served as editor and publisher at The Greenfield Vedette, and the creative services supervisor at The Joplin Globe. Langston currently serves as the assistant director of Advertising at The Joplin Globe.
